Barbie Collection Catalog Project - 100 dolls and still counting

1998 Avon Winter Splendor AA  #19358

I found this doll at a thrift store for a $1.  She was missing her long black gloves and shoes but I didn't care, the Asha face mold is one of my favorites.  Her outfit is actually 2 pcs.

2000 Star Skater Christie  #25789

One of my favorite dolls, again the Asha face mold.  She is a major player in some of my dioramas and is married to the guy coming up next.

2000 Movie Date Ken AA  #29261

Isn't he a cutie! I love this guy and so does his wife the aforementioned Star Skater Christie aka Lydia.

Lydia and Steve Lundin. They are just adorable!

2000 Movie Date Ken  #28731
He's kinda dorky looking but he has rooted hair, so he's mine.

1993 DOTW Kenyan Barbie  #11181

Love this doll!  Her face and haircut are so cute.

And our 100th doll is.........

2001 40th Anniversary Ken  #50722

He is a good escort for the Model Muses but boy, oh boy, that hair cut!  He's lucky it's rooted hair otherwise he wouldn't be here.......

So I have reached a milestone here, 100 dolls so far.  A rough estimate of the remainder is about 40-50, not a huge collection but not a small one either.

Thanks for stopping by........

  1. I like the married date night Ken best! And it's always nice to find a gem at the thrift store:@)

  2. The Asha face mold is one of my favorites too. I think 140-150 dolls is a nice size collection. One of the reasons I am trying to take pictures of the dolls in my collection is to find out how many I have! But you are much further along than I am.

  3. The Asha face mould (I didn't even realise that all the different faces had names!) is really cute and pretty, I'm not surprised that it's a favourite with many Barbie lovers.
I also like the Kenyan Barbie, she's so pretty.
