This was the doll I wanted most as a child, but it just wasn't in the cards. So I bought my own many years later. She wears her original swimsuit and unlike some of my other vintage repurchased dolls, she has not had any work done. I just love this hairstyle and think it was much more flattering than the ponytail and bubblecut.

Wow, she is in very good condition. I love the American Girl Haircut too. The doll of my youth was a platinum bubble cut Barbie. Because mine was "given" away, I also found her later in life which started my collection!
