Deboxing Day: Pearl Beach Teen Skipper. # 19223 - 1997

I needed a modern Skipper to go with my modern Barbies

and found Pearl Beach Skipper a few months back.

Meet Cassandra (Cassie).  Isn't she a cutie!  I love her 

streaked hair.  Now to get her some cute clothes, I

think she'll be fun to dress.

and leggings.  The 3/4 boots and bucket bag complete

her look.

I also got Megan in a box lot and believe she is Bead

Blast barbie.  She has a very sweet face.

Lindsey looks cute in this outfit but those flood pants....what

were they thinking.  The crop top and jacket are great to 

pair with other pieces.

I got Lindsey in a box lot on eBay.  It took awhile but I

think I finally found out who she is ....a Kmart exclusive,

Route 66 Barbeque Bash.  She has a very serene face.

Fashion Avenue 'Meet Me at the Ballet' #25702-56110. - 2001

Nikki looks super cute for her evening at the ballet.  This outfit

came with the most adorable compact and lipstick.....

I think this outfit was made for Nikki, she looks great in this outfit.
I was surprised at how well it fit her, usually the older outfits are a
little big on the Fashionista dolls.  I think it fits ok because it's a
knit.

Best Buy Fashion # 9619 - 1977

PJ came dressed in this dress when I got her.  This is the first Best Buy 

outfit I have come across and I was surprised.  The quality of

the fabric and the craftsmanship is quite good.  The shawl is

missing from this outfit, but it looks good on her.

Meet the Doll: Sunset Malibu PJ # 1187 1971 - 1972

I don't have many dolls from the 70's so I am trying to add a few

while they are still reasonably priced.  When I got Mary Jo, my Pretty

Changes doll, I also got this PJ.

She is a little cutie, definitely a hippie flower child!  She is in great condition

but didn't come with her bathing suit.

Meet the Doll - Pretty Changes Barbie # 2598 - 1979

Meet Mary Jo.  I love Barbies with short hair.  This one reminds

me of the early bubblecuts.  Her outfit is in good condition but

I didn't get any of the hair pieces.  This doll was made for frilly dresses. 

I will have to get her some.
