Nikki looks super cute for her evening at the ballet.  This outfit

came with the most adorable compact and lipstick.....

I think this outfit was made for Nikki, she looks great in this outfit.
I was surprised at how well it fit her, usually the older outfits are a
little big on the Fashionista dolls.  I think it fits ok because it's a
knit.

Best Buy Fashion # 9619 - 1977

PJ came dressed in this dress when I got her.  This is the first Best Buy 

outfit I have come across and I was surprised.  The quality of

the fabric and the craftsmanship is quite good.  The shawl is

missing from this outfit, but it looks good on her.

Meet the Doll: Sunset Malibu PJ # 1187 1971 - 1972

I don't have many dolls from the 70's so I am trying to add a few

while they are still reasonably priced.  When I got Mary Jo, my Pretty

Changes doll, I also got this PJ.

She is a little cutie, definitely a hippie flower child!  She is in great condition

but didn't come with her bathing suit.

Meet the Doll - Pretty Changes Barbie # 2598 - 1979

Meet Mary Jo.  I love Barbies with short hair.  This one reminds

me of the early bubblecuts.  Her outfit is in good condition but

I didn't get any of the hair pieces.  This doll was made for frilly dresses. 

I will have to get her some.

'Shirtdressy' #1487 - 1969-1970

When I purchased Kelley she was in this dress.  It's in

pretty good condition with some repairs that someone made

very carefully.  It comes with yellow chunky shoes but I didn't

get them in the deal.  I think it looks okay with the white shoes.

Meet the Doll: Quick Curl Kelley #4221. 1973-1976

I picked this Kelley up several years ago.  I think her face 

paint is original but I'm pretty sure her hair has been redone.

I think she is very cute.

Valentine Sweethearts

Roxanne (looking hot in On the Red Carpet outfit) and Kyle.
They look good together.

Ryan chose Kaelyn as his sweetheart (twin Kimberly is not

going to be happy).  Look he gave her a rose, so sweet.

Sharla is stepping out with Curtis (aka Perfume Giving Ken #4555 - 1987).

They make a dashing couple.  Curtis is quite handsome.

Valentine Luncheon

The stunning Ava Winter is having a Valentine lunch with her nieces, 

Rowena and Cindy.  They stopped by the Valentine picture booth for a

family photo.

Ava looks ravishing in Sheath Sensation # 986  1961-1964

Rowena (who I just found out is Coca Cola Picnic Barbie, I got her 

in a box lot, nude) is wearing a simple full skirted dress that I made 

from a vintage pattern.

Cindy is also wearing a handmade outfit, black floral print skirt 

and pink dotted blouse. 

They are all pretty Valentines.

Deboxing Day: Black Barbie # 1293 - 1980

This is one of my favorite dolls. I had 2 at one time but had to downsize the collection some.  I have been hesitant to debox her but thought it was time she came out and enjoyed herself with the other ladies.  Her name is Sharla.

She has such a pretty face and gorgeous eyes.  I did discover a small cut on her face.

But she is still lovely.

Let' s Hear It For The Boys: 40th Anniversary Ken

I actually got this doll last year for my birthday.  I think it is time he broke free of his box as some of the ladies need a better escort than the zombie-like Ryan.  So ladies, meet Kyle.

He's not bad looking but the haircut is dorky (it's rooted) and his head is a little under sized giving him a tick-like look. The tux is nice and he will look good escorting the ladies to assorted soirees.

It came with a cool little minature Ken complete with itty bitty box.

Meet the doll: Barbie Basic Target Exclusive Collection Red Model #03 # V9315-0900

Meet Roxanne Benevento.  This doll is sexy, has attitude and is drop dead gorgeous.

She was actually a second choice.  I was originally looking at a Silkstone Lingerie but got out bid, then decided I didn't really like the Silkstone face and started looking at the Barbie Basics (I already had 2 and liked them).  I came across this one at a good price and went for it.  From the moment she arrived I was smitten, she is my favorite doll.
